Crochet: Potholder
These are just the basic instructions for a set of Bunny-potholders in Interlocking Mosaic Crochet, and part of my journey in learning this technique. (In case I want to do them again, as I always lose my notes).
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This design was born out of necessity : I needed something to keep my shoulders warm but leave my neck, arms and lower back free, and most of all : stay in place, even when I walk around and move a lot.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Sometimes a yarn does not turn out the way you hoped, or like, or you just don’t have enough (left) for two socks. This pattern completely alters the look of the yarn, by combining it with a highly contrasting (solid) color.
Crochet: Ankle Sock
Very basic, easy and fast sock-pattern that can easily be used for a variety of socks.
Crochet: Toy Plant
These tiny trees were designed for a maquette, but can also be fun to decorate a dollshouse, or even a christmas-ornament (pine tree). Easy to make, quick to whip up, fun to do.
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
Polyband (curling ribbon) is perfect for very stiff projects, like bags, boxes, coasters etc. Can be bought in small amounts in any store that sells giftwrapping-material and in large bobbins in wholesale-stores. It is very cheap and you can make quite a few projects out of a single bobbin.
Crochet: Animal Toy
This is my interpretation of the Japanese figure ‘Gloomy Bear’ which is very popular especially around Gothic/Emo teen-girls ;-)
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
A while ago I ran into the Alligator Handbag from Merino, and was a bit disappointed that I could not buy the pattern separately, as ordering the complete kit for Europe would alltogether be a very, very expensive business.
Crochet: Softies - Other
This is a rather basic pattern of course, and the only patterns I found so far were base-up or knitted. This one is made top-down, which is - I think- a bit easier.
Crochet: Animal Toy
Macey Mouse is just the cutest ! She can sit down AND stand up, her arms and legs are bendable, and she can be made in several sized by just varying with the yarn and hooksize.
Knitting: Ball
This is a great pattern for leftovers of not too thin (or too thick) yarn. I stumbled upon this ball a few years back, but never found a pattern for it, so I decided to find out how it was made myself, from just a photo. Took me a few nights, but then I had it.
Knitting: Purse / Handbag
This bag was my first attempt to felt a knitted bag, and I must say, it came out pretty much as I hoped it would.
