I needed a pattern for stones or pebbles but I couldn’t find one I liked, so I made my own. These are knit in the round and are not felted (though fulling them probably looks nice too!) so they require minimal finishing. Since each pebble uses little yarn, they’re a good way to use up scraps.

A sideways-knit stole that is done quickly on large needles and with just 100 grams of sock yarn. It contains four stitch patterns, all of which are variations of the same basic drop stitch/seafoam pattern and only use knit stitches and yarnovers. Gauge is not important for this project.
