This tam is one of a series based on Venice, Italy (see my other patterns). It celebrates the Venetian Laguna, the heart of the city. Once day I was looking over an embankment and saw the waving seaweed lit up by sunshine. This tam is based on that moment and the foto I took.

Venetian chimneys are distinct. Just look up and you see them all over Venice with their inverted pyramid tops. These chimneys often have seagulls on top, so my tam does too.

Use a MC and a CC for the dots and stripes. This mitten fits an average sized woman’s hand (7.5 - 8 in around widest part of hand). To make a larger mitten, use larger needles or add more sts on either side of the dots.
