Knitting: Scarf
Scarves (I think) should be designed to be worn every which way. Therefore, the ideal designs should be reversible. This pattern shows how to knit a simple, chunky, reversible cabled scarf, about 5” x 60”.

These gloves/mittens are designed specifically for troops serving over in Afghanistan (both in mens’ and womens’ sizes), where the winters can get extremely cold, and it can be difficult to use computers, guns etc. out in the elements.
