Nordvesten lue er en anvendlig og moderne lue som strikkes som en lang tube. Den legges opp med få masker og økes gradvis ut til full vidde. Det strikkes i glattstrikk som går over i en klassisk 2x2 ribb. Fellingene opp mot toppen av luen skaper et dekorativt mønster som på Nordvesten skjerfet.
