I created this shawl as a variation to my Riblet Shawlette. This shawl is assymetrical ending with a small scallop shell.

This cowl uses the beautiful colors and striping of Noro yarn in a symmetrical way. The linen stitch gives the stripes a more textural appearance. The finished cowl measures about 64” x 1 1 /2” wide, not too big or bulky, more like colorful knitted jewelry.

The finished asymmetric shawlette measures about 4 feet by 16 inches with an icord edge knit as you go. This shawlette works well with a yarn having a long color lead. The shawlette has been minimally blocked to help keep the elasticity of the ribs.
