Strix is a shawl knit in rows with increases at the beginning of each row an yarn-overs that create lines of eyelets. It develops a distinct curve th farther you get in the pattern. It is beginner-friendly and tested. The border is added in modular knitting.

This pattern uses two strands of sockyarn leftovers held together. You can follow the instructions and use different yarns, too. I used up about 350 g of different sockyarns and cotton yarns, selected by colour.

The Golden Plover is a meanwhile rare shorebird with a gold sprinkled plumage. This shawl-pattern tries to recreate this shimmering yellow and my joy watching this bird, for yellow is the most joyful colour of all.

Zwei Fäden Sockenwolle und/oder Lacegarn werden für diesen asymmetrischen Dreiecksschal zusammen verstrickt. Das Wellenmuster ist reversibel und lässt den Schal von beiden Seiten gleich gut aussehen. Die Größe lässt sich anpassen, für einen 180 cm langen Schal braucht man ca. zweimal 600 m Garn in SoWo-Stärke.

this is (for a lace scarf) a relatively dense fabric, the pattern creates small stars or flowers. 100 g sockyarn make a 150 cm long and 38 cm high shawl. its name mentions little weedy plants with petite white blossoms, that cover the green herbs in april.
