Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This sock uses worsted weight yarn and knits up quick with an alternating slip-stitch and rib pattern. The ribbing is used effectively to keep the sock snug and in place when worn. I used hand spun camel yarn from the snow leopard trust but you can use any worsted weight yarn with natural fibres in it.

I made this pattern especially for my little girls incorporating smocking and picot edges on a collar and cuffs of a complimentary color. The skirt is gathered and fairly long. This skirt is knit in the round from the top down and the bodice is knit in one piece with buttons up the back.

These super cute overalls are made to be very wearable with button fastenings at the shoulder and snaps sewn on to inseam. Short rows give greater depth to the seat area and a pocket on the front pulls it all together. The cable detail is simple and with the exception of the pocket, it is knit all in one piece.
