The fletching is the fin-shaped aerodynamic stabilization device attached on arrows, bolts, darts, or javelins, and are typically made from light semi-flexible materials such as feathers or bark.

This pattern was designed as part of the 2025 Hill Country Yarn Crawl in Texas. The pattern will be free in my shop through the end of the year.

The stitches for the gauge for this pattern refers to the number of Crocodile Stitches per inch, and the number of rows of Crocodile Stitch Rows per inch. Gauge is not terribly crucial for this project.

The gauge for this project isn’t important, granny squares are very versatile and can be adjusted for any weight yarn or any size hook.
