Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This fun cable hat is worked in the round on circular needles starting from the ribbing and working all the way up to the top in one piece, switching to double pointed needles at the crown.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This great leftover shawl uses only 85- 100 grams worsted or fingering weight.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
These three hats are quick knits using worsted yarn doubled (two strands held together). It makes for a fast gift and the variety of yarns available can greatly change your final look!
Knitting: Scarf, Cowl
Feather and Fan Infinity/Cowl is fun and easy, and if you have never tried lace before, this is a perfect introduction. It is worked in the round and easy to do once you get going!
Knitting: Scarf
This is a quick knit due to the larger size needle with many variations, depending on your choice of contrast yarn.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Do you have leftover sock yarn that is too beautiful to toss, and begging to be put to good use? This is the project to remedy that! Remnants from other projects work well, too. Many colors of the same weight work wonderfully together, but you can use varying textures and weights as you see fit.
Knitting: Beret, Tam
This is a wonderful technique that is quite engaging once mastered. It is also quite easy to master, believe it or not! It only appears woven, it is really knitted in short rows, but don’t panic. The whole Tuesday knitting circle has made them and survived the process quite nicely!
Knitting: Scarf
There are two versions included this pattern, Fingering yarn and size US 6 needle, or worsted yarn and size US 10 needle. Other variations will work as well, just play around and use the needle for the largest weight yarn you are including.
Crochet: Scarf
This is a wonderful gift item to crochet with a luxury yarn. It does not require much yarn or time to complete.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This pattern utilizes a technique of altrernating three yarns of varying textures. The increases are set up to create a half a hexagon design, which resembles a spiderweb to me. It is pretty fast and easy to make once you get started and it works really well to show off fun yarns!
