Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern is a fun alternative to a pompom beanie. Knit in a basic rib stitch, but with a fun twist, perfect for advanced beginners and trying something new. I love bows, and it made so much sense to name it the Elizabeth Beanie after my great grandmother Elizabeth. I am named after her, and she was the epitome of manners, class, and feminin...

This pattern was written to be your go to light weight but cozy beanie with just a little height for a chic modern look. Named for my birth year 1993 as part of my 30th birthday collection of patterns.
Knitting: Headband
This pattern is one of 3 patterns written for my 30th birthday celebration. Coincidentally, this pattern also uses approximately 30 yards of super bulky yarn. My sample is knit with Malabrigo Rasta, which yields about 5 WPI (some super bulky yarns may be too thin to achieve gauge, so please check gauge before starting). The 30 headband is writt...

The Gratitude Beanie is a fun way to try colorwork, especially if you love the look of Fair Isle knits but are intimidated by the colorwork. This beanie works up very quickly and allows each colorway to really shine. The Billie Beanie is the Super Bulky sister to the 76 Beanie. Crafted very similarly, this Beanie has the same swirling decrease at the crow, and can be worn slouchy or with a classic folded brim. This beanie is a great option for beginners! I love beanies like this for hand dyed yarns, because it really showcases the artistic colorways.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl is worked in the round to start and then is split to be worked flat. It takes approximately 5-10 hours to complete, and approximately 130-150 yards of super bulky yarn. Keep in mind that there is some variation in super bulky yarns, and my sample was knit in a heavier super bulky. It does not have to be blocked, but I recommend blocki...

This Beanie is the accent piece to the Faded Love Cowl (available separately). You will need approximately 80 yards for the main color, and about 10-15 yards of each coordinating color. You could also make it with only one coordinating color, and ignore the instructions to change colors.

The Demelza Cowl is the coordinating accessory to the Demelza Beanie (also available in my pattern store). It uses the Left Leaning Twist stitch to create faux cabling. This cowl is extra cozy using jumbo or super bulky yarn. My sample shown was made using Cascade Magnum, which makes for a great finished fabric with structure.

The Teeny Tulip Cowl is a super quick beginner friendly colorwork cowl, made using a total of 3 colors of superbulky yarn. In order to get the floral effect, I suggest that color B is a shade of green.

The Faded Love Cowl utilizes 4 colors of super bulky yarn (but you may use as many or as few colors as you like to make your stripes). This pattern was designed to use exactly one skein of 80% sw merino 20% nylon, 76 yard, bulky yarn. Each dyer seems to have a different way of naming this type of skein from chunky to super bulky. The key is the 76 yards and the fiber content.
