Knitting: Cowl
This cowl/hoodie is simple, but not mindless knitting. I would gauge the skill level to be experience beginner to intermediate. Once you catch on to the pattern, it goes pretty quick. I love the stich as it has a lot of texture and stylish points. I love scarves that is hassle free to wear and this is a definite hassle free scarf. You can use a...
Knitting: Collar, Scarf
This collar comes in two sizes (SM and Med/Lrg). One skein of yarn is sufficient for both sizes. However, for the Med/Lrg, one skein of the Debbie Bliss (137 yds) will totally max out. There was barely enough yarn left to make the tie cord. If you do not have enough yarn, you can use a contrasting yarn for the tie or use satin ribbons as the ti...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat pattern is so easily adaptable. It is suitable for a man or a woman. It is knitted side to side instead of top to bottom. You can adjust the head size by simply adding a section and/or lengthening the hat by adding stitches to the initial cast on. You can use a single ball of yarn to make the hat or gather your leftover remnant yarns f...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque, Cowl
This cowl is knitted in the round with some shaping so that the bottom lays smoothly on your shoulders. The hat is made the exact same way with the addition of closing the opening. You can add the beads or leave them off, either way the fantastic vine pattern will make a gorgeous romantic statement to your accessories. This pattern has instruct...
Knitting: Applique / Embellishment
This pattern is for you to make a lovely red poppy flower. You can use it to embelish accessories or to make an accessory of it’s own. The size of the flower would depend on the weight of yarn you use. I recommend Sport or DK, which will give you a 3” flower. The flower is made mostly in one piece and you should know how to make an I-cord, knit...
Knitting: Hats - Other
This fun cat hat is a helmet style hat that covers the whole head and neck. It is knitted from the top down and is an easy project for an advance beginner. You should know how to Provisional Cast On, knit in the round, Kitchener Stitch and add stitches (CO) from the edge of the work. The worsted weight yarn is suggested for the baby and child s...
Knitting: Necklace
This pattern is an off shoot of my original hibiscus flower pattern per the request of fellow knitters. If you already have the Hibiscus Flower pattern, you can easily make this necklace by adjusting the length of the “stem” and inserting a flower to each end. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions on how to convert to the necklace.
Knitting: Ornamental Flower
This pattern is a decorative knit flower that is 3 dimensional and easy to make for an experienced beginner or intermediate knitter. As with all my flower patterns, I recommend using a stiff cotton yarn in a DK or Sport weight. This can be a fun project to use up that one ball of yarn and scraps left over from another project. You should be abl...
Knitting: Earflap Hat
I have added an adult size to the pattern so the “adult” and the baby can have a cat on the head.
Knitting: Necklace
This piece requires that you sew the pieces together to form the flower. Gauge is not critical as you will be using needles smaller than suggested on the label. The tight knitting helps keep the shaping of the petals. The neck cord is crochet but looks like an I-cord. You can always make the I-cord, but crocheting is quicker. Requires a few inc...
Knitting: Cowl
This pattern has directions for two weights of yarn - Aran and Chunky. This requires a bit (very little) of crocheting in it (chain stitch and slip stitch). This cowl/scarf will match my Flapper and Hola Fiesta Hat as the pattern stitch is the same. The button is removable and can be reposition anywhere on the scarf for a good fit and a differe...
Knitting: Necklace, Collar
This pattern is for an advance beginner or and intermediate knitter. You should know how to Provisional Cast On and make I-cord. The gauge is not critical as you will be using a smaller needle size than that recommended on the yarn label. I suggest you use metal needles, since the knitting will be tight.
Knitting: Applique / Embellishment
You can use this as a brooch by adding a metal pin-back or sew to a ribbon to tie around your neck as a neck corsage. Sew it to a hair clip for your hair or attach the flower to florist wire and make yourself a bouquet. Have fun with it….happy knitting!!
Knitting: Cloche Hat
For the best results for the multicolor variegated yarns, choose your yarn with long yardage before the change of colors. Gauge is not critical for this hat. You can use a thick worsted to bulky weight and the only change would be to readjust the # of stitches you would pick up for the crown.
Knitting: Belt, Necklace, Headband, Hair accessories
this flower lariat is so versatile. It can be worn as a necklace in many many ways, a belt/sash, as a headband. The flowers are on a long cord and movable.
Knitting: Necklace
This lily flower is much easier to put together with less sewing than my older patterns. The cord is crochet, but you can make an I-cord if you prefer to knit.
Knitting: Cloche Hat
This hat is made in two pieces, the rise and the crown. You should know how to do the Provisional Cast On, grafting/Kitchener stitch, pick up stitches on the edge, pick up stitches from previously knitted round, knit in the round with DNP.
Knitting: Cloche Hat
This hat is made in two parts. I would say this would be challenging for a beginner or for an intermediate knitter. You should know how to pick-up stitches, knit in the round with circular and/or DNP and may need some minor re-calculations if you need a size out of the “average”.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I would rate this pattern to be challenging for a beginner or for an intermediate knitter. These gloves are knitted completely in the round.
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern makes a good quick project. Guage is not critical, so you can use yarn weight from DK to chunky. Just use the recommended size for the yarn. For the leaves embellishment, I suggest using 1 to 2 size smaller needle.
Knitting: Necklace
this pattern is based off of my peony flower pattern, but with more details/insturctions. I have added some hints to help the project along.
Knitting: Ornamental Flower
Use this pattern to make some fantastic accessories to wear, to embellish a hat, bag, outfit, make multiples for a bouquet, a single flower as a corsage, to wear as a hairpiece. Use just anywhere your imagination will take you.
Knitting: Necklace
You will need approximately 3 yards of yarn per petal. One ball of the suggested yarn will make you a bouquet of flowers. Knitting with needles smaller than suggested on the yarn wrapper will make the shape hold up better.
Knitting: Necklace
This pattern has some hints to vary the look of the flowers. The petals and leaves does not have to be the exact measurement and all the same. Change it up a bit to your liking. Play around with the placement and make it fit you.
Knitting: Necklace
This is another flower to my “Love Me” series. It came out a little different from my original because I could not remember what I did when making the first lariat. I wrote down the instructions this time and here it is.
Knitting: Jewelry - Other, Necklace
I created this flower neckwear during the summer months and loved the theme and way it looked. It is cotton and not heavy to wear during the warm weather.
Crochet: Neck / Torso - Other, Necklace
you would need 30 yards of ribbon in each color to make this. The length would be approximately 36”.
Knitting: Ornamental Flower
Use this pattern to make some fantastic accessories to wear, to embellish a hat, bag, outfit, make multiples for a bouquet, a single flower as a corsage, to wear as a hairpiece. Use just anywhere your imagination will take you.
