I wanted to make quick Christmas presents for the men in my family and came up with this masculine neck-warmer. This makes a 20” cowl which fits most guys; pattern can be increased by 10 stitches if your guy is extra-large.

I was so happy with my Forest Park Cowl, that I wanted a hat to go with it. I couldn’t find a pattern, so this is what I came up with!

I combined at least 4 patterns in an effort to copy an ankle sock knitted by a friend’s Swiss mom. I wanted to try a picot edge (Belle Epoque) on an ankle sock w/ worsted wt yarn (Easy Peasy) but with a texture (Hermione’s). I used the needle organization of “A Nice Ribbed Sock”. A fun project for 1 skein of worsted yarn!
