Wow! November! Square number 11! Can you believe how fast this year is going?? I’m horribly behind on my squares, I need to do half of September and 6 of October and all the joining! But I will get there, I promise! I’m just busy with life and other projects at the moment.

Crochet: Afghan block
So on to October. Again, I used stylecraft DK and hook size 4.5mm for my mood blanket.

Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
I love making wristies / fingerless mittens. As they are easy and quick and a last minute thing you can do to add some flair to your outfit!

I have had many questions and requests regarding my ottoman cover I made a couple of weeks ago. I have used this pattern and a variation on it for a while now. I first made a clock cover. I made a few potholders for my aunt and I covered an inflatable ottoman from the kids with it.

I was watching “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” with the kids. And just the idea of food and animals combined was brilliant in my mind! Amazing the foodimals they have come up with, Fla-Mango’s, Shrimpansees and so many more! And off course the WaterMelophant! So funny! And I and the kids fell in love with them.

As I’m designing a Mood Granny for each month, I would like to introduce Februari! Hope you like it!

Crochet: Tutorial
Normally I work my rows in the round and start every HDC row with a CH1 and DC rows with CH2 and then SLST to the first HDC/DC of the row to minimise my seam. But working on some baby hats this week, the seams were like ELEPHANTS in my imagination. They were so noticeable, in your face, there. I just shuddered every time I came back to the firs...
