I love making wristies / fingerless mittens. As they are easy and quick and a last minute thing you can do to add some flair to your outfit!

Pffff I was worried I didn’t have enough time to come up with a new square for August with our holidays and my boy’s 5th Birthday this week. But it just came to me yesterday and I’m loving it!

I have had many questions and requests regarding my ottoman cover I made a couple of weeks ago. I have used this pattern and a variation on it for a while now. I first made a clock cover. I made a few potholders for my aunt and I covered an inflatable ottoman from the kids with it.

I was watching “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” with the kids. And just the idea of food and animals combined was brilliant in my mind!
