Richmond District Child’s Vest is made with O’Wool’s Legacy DK organic merino wool. This vest can be made for a boy or girl, see needle size. (This is the area of San Francisco where I live)

This pattern is knitted deliberately on slightly larger needles so the blanket has breathing room. This is very important for newborn babies or young children.
