Knitting: Throw
This blanket is worked by knitting separate motifs of three different varieties (octagon, square and triangle) and then assembling them into the whole blanket. A crocheted border is given but any border of your choosing will work.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This lovely hat is constructed in two parts. The cabled brim is knit in a strip beginning with a provisional cast on. Stitches are then picked up along one edge and the crown of the hat is worked in Stockinette Stitch. The provisional cast on is removed and the brim is connected with a three needle bind off. The crown is seamed using a mattress...
Knitting: Cardigan
This pattern is worked from the top down in a traditional raglan fashion. There is an option for short row shaping on the back to account for a slight rounding of the shoulders. The button and buttonhole borders are knit as the sweater is knit, buttonholes are placed near the top. The lace border is worked from a chart. The sleeves are worked i...
Knitting: Pullover
This pattern has a twisted ribbing for added interest. The cable pattern is fairly simple, only 4 stitch front and 4 stitch back cables. The sleeves are set in for a flattering fit. There is no waist shaping but the cable and rib pattern will form a bit to your shape. The sleeve increases are worked in the rib pattern for ease of knitting. Seve...
Knitting: Baby Blanket
This pattern is an easy travel project; it is worked in strips of just 31 sts. The stitches are them seamed together. For the more adventurous knitter, the entire blanket can be worked using intarsia color work.
Knitting: Pullover
This pattern is a great way to get into stranded knitting as there are only two colors and the gauge is not too fine. A strong contrast between the main color and contrast will make the sweater the most dramatic.
Knitting: Pullover
This update of an old pattern has set in sleeves and a longer total length with the same brilliant color scheme and interesting stitch pattern.
Knitting: Pullover
This pattern uses a double strand of yarn (hence the large yardage requirements) and one strand at a time is changed to get the subtle color changes.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This interesting pattern is inspired by someone looking to make a hat she saw on a catalog website. They were out of stock, so she called me to create something similar. The cable is a little different, but fun to knit.
Knitting: Cardigan
Very fun to make, each square is picked up on the row below and knit. You are only working with a few stitches at a time. Seeing the colors come together in Noro yarns is fantastic. The sleeves are worked in Reverse stockinette stitch.
Knitting: Coat / Jacket
This jacket is worked in a super bulky yarn and utilizes simple cabling detail for implied waist shaping.
Knitting: Coat / Jacket
Baby’s first coat has grown up! Now sized up to 10 years, this very easy, top down coat will be the hit of any girl’s wardrobe.

Knitting: Pullover
This cable pattern is quite interesting, never boring, and never too complicated. The style of the sweater is a modified drop shoulder so there is little shaping. The sleeve increases are worked in Stockinette stitch so there are no issues with increasing in the cable pattern. To increase the bust size, I have added multiples of a cable rib sin...
Knitting: Scarf
This is a fun way to get your feet wet with cables, there is no cable needle required!
Knitting: Purse / Handbag
This purse is done using two different slip stitch patterns. Make sure when you are slipping stitches, in both patterns, that your yarn is on the right side of the work; this is what makes the patterns really show. If you want to line the purse, cut your fabric before sewing the knitted pieces together.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
This pattern is quite interesting to knit although it does have a compressed row gauge. This makes the knitting a little slower, but well worth the extra time. The shell has stockinette stitch hems and waist shaping for a polished look. I have also seen this pattern done in a subtle hand dyed yarn, the look is quite different and equally beauti...
Knitting: Cardigan
This beautiful cardigan has a flower motif to enhance the sleeves and a cluster of flowers at the lower back. The bobbles are made using a crochet hook, creating the perfect shape and size.
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern is a great introduction to the intarsia color knitting technique. The flower stems can be knit in or duplicate stitched after. Try a solid colored background to really make the flowers pop!
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
This pattern is very easy, all of the borders are knit in so there is very little finishing. The waist is slightly shaped for a flattering look.
Knitting: Market bag (slouchy)
This pattern is a little tricky to begin with, stay focused and press on, you will love the results!
Knitting: Coat / Jacket
This pattern is super easy and quick. Worked from the neck down, the only sewing is the sleeve seams. The sizes are not generous as the fabric is so thick.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
This beautiful and unique baby blanket can be made in any lightweight yarn. Find a lovely and soft fabric to line the wrong side.
