Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl was inspired by the one that Claire Randall wears in the Outlander TV series on Starz. (Saturdays, 9 PM) The original shawl was made in three colors. I chose to do mine with only two. This shawl isn’t an exact replica, but inspired by, Or rather my “take” on it.

This hat is a cute and easy to wear slouchy-style
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I love to design hats. They are pretty easy and quick to make and are fun to wear. I enjoy mixing my “hat wearing” up. I have beanies, slouchies, cloche hats, etc. I wear the hats according to my mood or outfit that day.
Knitting: Cowl
Why Floater? Well, the pattern repeat uses a variation of “float stitches” to create the fabric. Also, there is an awesome rock band from Portland, Oregon named Floater. I live in Portland and am happy to use fellow PDX-ers as my inspiration in naming the cowl. Rock On!
Knitting: Cardigan
This cardigan is a light-weight garment with a textured pattern on the body and three-quarter length sleeves. It makes for a great Spring sweater, especially in the Pacific Northwest. Layering and comfort is key for Spring time style in Oregon. It can be chilly in the mornings and warm in the afternoons around here. I wanted to design an inform...

Designer Rilana Riley-Muson likes naming her patterns after places near her home. She named this infinity-type scarf after Terwilliger Boulevard in SW Portland. There is a dangerous stretch of Interstate 5 called the “Terwilliger Curves.” The pattern stitch displays curving diamonds, twisting back and forth.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks are fun to knit. They are knitted from the top down, with a heel flap and basic toe. The leg portion of the socks have an easy YO pattern stitch to add a bit of interest. These socks remind me of the slouchy socks of the 80’s and early 90’s. You can wear them up or push them down to scrunch around your ankles. I named these socks “H...
Knitting: Electronics Cozy
My Husband purchased an Amazon Kindle for me, for Christmas, this past year. I was VERY excited to finally have one. The Kindle doesn’t come with a cover. That is a separate purchase. Eventually I will buy a cover for my Kindle. Until then, I needed to knit a cover for my precious Kindle. This pattern is the result of my cover. I hope that you ...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat came to be out of an evening of boredom and two random skeins of super bulky yarn. I sat down to create a quick INSTANT GRATIFICATION hat out of the yarn. From start to finish, the hat took me approximately two hours to create. You could easily cast on and be done with this hat and wear it the next day.
Crochet: Electronics Cozy
This is a quickie 30 minute crochet project…I have a Motorola MotoSlvr L7 cell phone. I have a terrible habit of just tossing my phone into my purse. To keep the phone from getting scratched, I made this quick little cozy to protect my phone.
Knitting: Pullover
This pullover is a basic, easy design. No shaping, drop shoulder style sleeves with intarsia on the front, striping along one arm. The bat chart is hand drawn by me.
Knitting: Vest
NOTE: I have updated the PDF for this pattern. There was a minor mistake in the shoulder shaping that has been corrected. (3/28/2012)
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern is free. This is a simply, easy, rustic and soft scarf for keeping warm during the colder months.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
There are two seperate PDFs to download for this pattern. One in English and the second is in Finnish. Thank you to SatuK for translating the pattern for me. HAPPY KNITTING!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This little ruffled shawl was inspired by a fellow knit-blogger, named Jenni, who saw a similar shawl at Sak’s Fifth Avenue. It was a cashmere shawl that cost more than any sane person would be willing to spend on a shawl, at least in my world. So, I created a sort of “knock off.”
Knitting: Beret, Tam
This hat was originally based on a character named “Alice” from the Twilight saga books, by Stephenie Meyer. It’s a cute, sparkly beret. Any worsted weight yarn may be used to knit this chic little beret.

Knitting: Ankle Sock
I love slipper socks, or some call them house socks. My feet get cold in the Autumn and winter months and I like to put on a thicker pair of socks to hang out around the house in. These aren’t meant to be worn with shoes and you can whip out a pair in a weekend.
Knitting: Knee-highs
This pattern is for simple, basic knee socks. I made these for myself and thought I would share how I made them. This pattern has not been test knitted. However, I have knitted them twice, myself. Happy Knitting!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is knitted flat on straight needles and seamed up the back when completed. It is suitable for beginners with basic knowledge of cable knitting.
