This wonderfully warm winter hat was designed for a friend who is exposed to cold North Sea winds. I have knitted this using Rowan Softest Merino Wool; it also works well in Lopi Alafosslopi (both are roving yarns). The wave pattern is an Icelandic motif.

These gloves are knitted using Renaissance Dyeing’s Troubadour 4-ply Organic Poll Dorset Yarn, and feature corrugated ribbing on the cuffs, and traditional Fair Isle patterns on the back of the hand, palm and fingers. The little finger is offset for a better fit.

This men’s waistcoat is styled formally, and works well with a shirt. It is knitted in a slip stich pattern that gives a tweed effect, and results in a luxurious drape and weight to the finished piece.
