Knitting: Bonnet
It’s a winter bonnet! It’s a beanie turned on it’s side! It’s a diembodied hood! This hat has an unusual profile, which gives it and interesting and fun look. The ‘brim’ is a lovely cable and bobble design and the crown is a slipped stitch rib that is not too snug. Three sassy pom-pons complete the look.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These mitts are quick to knit and sport a geometrical design. The cuff is short, which makes them ideal to wear with long sleeves.
Knitting: Scarf
A scarf for Friday the 13th in which the number 13 is prominently featured. Color number 113 in Brown Sheep Burly Spun is called Oregano, it’s a shade of green, not the one that is pictured.
Knitting: Money Purse
This is a good project for a beginning knitter. Techniques include casting on, casting off, garter stitch, yarn over buttonhole, seaming and weaving in ends.
Knitting: Pixie Hat, Hats - Other
This is my first time writing a pattern. This hat was inspired by the children’s book I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen. This hat fits most children’s heads and would also work as a gnome hat or a hat from the Haberdashery in the book 13 Words by Lemony Snicket and Maira Kalman.
