This hat was inspired by my favorite little German (a long-haired dachshund named Rondo) and named for my favorite Schumann Lied. I didn’t intend to release the pattern on Valentine’s Day, but when I finally had the chance to sit down and measure my last test-knit hat, it happened to be February 14.

This is the first time I’ve written out a pattern, so while I’ve had several people look it over it has only been tested by me. Feel free to contact me with any questions or issues you may notice!
