Knitting: Headband
Warm headband for fall. To size: end on any WS row, begin seed stitch.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I made this for a friend having a baby. It will fit a standard newborn size head. This pattern is very quick to complete as it is on larger needles and thicker yarn. It can also be adapted easily by making a longer ribbing, which will allow you to fold over and create an edge.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl was one of the first I designed myself. I have worn it many times through the winter and fall months. It stands up well and also folds over casually. This pattern lends itself to contrasting and complementing colors, if you want the stripes to stand out. You could also go with more subtle colors if you wanted a ombre look.
