This is an amazingly simple way to make a blanket. The name “Shifting Edges Blanket” helps to understand how the blanket is made. It is worked from corner to corner, so starting from one edge it widens diagonally until half and closes to the other edge.

The stitch patten is inspired by the traditional arts from the Andes. During my travels through South America, I witnessed many tradional fabrics and knitting/weaving techniques in Peru.
