Who doesn’t love a good sunset? In Austin, we don’t have mountains or beaches to watch the sun fade behind but we still get some spectacular evening views. So much so, we named part of our greenbelts after them. The Violet Crown Cowl is my nod to my hometown and the skies I know so well. I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I do.

I originally knit these booties for my nephew using Cedar House Yarns Irish Yearling Dk and silk mohair. When I tested the pattern I used Plymouth Yarn Worsted Superwash Merino.
