Knitting: Earwarmers
I designed this headwrap primarily for my breast cancer awareness promotion in my Etsy shop - but then my 13 year old daughter snatched it right up, and they were a hit with her friends, too. So I thought I’d list the pattern for others who might want to make one, too.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern is an advanced knitting pattern and is great chance to practice your increasing and decreasing skills. It works up using only 1 skein of yarn, so it’s a great pattern for making holiday gifts. (You can never get started too soon on that list of handmade holiday gifts!)
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This pattern is perfect for beginners to advanced crocheters. Simple stitches really let the yarn shine in this project - I love the tweed of the bulky yarn. And buttons add fun visual interest.

I finally wrote out the pattern for my slouchy hats. I love the texture of these with the puff stitches, and with this rendition, I made it a little less slouchy than I had been doing it. With a sc band, it stays put well, too.

Crochet: Beanie, Toque
A friend on Etsy asked me to see if I could write a pattern similar to a knit one she had seen. I figured it was worth a shot. And this came pretty close. In fact, I think I like this one better anyway.

I set out to make my dad a hat for Christmas. I wanted it to be a hat that would work for both men and women, and I also knew that I wanted it to have cables. I played around with stitches, and loved this hat so much I decided to keep it for myself. Sorry dad. :)
Crochet: Beret, Tam
I wrote this pattern in response to a request on Etsy. Someone loved my Silver Bobbled slouchy hat, and asked me to do it in chunky yarn. A couple hours later, this pattern was born.
Crochet: Earwarmers
This headband was a spin off from my flowered headband. I think I like this flower even better, but it is larger - making for a definite statement piece.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This hat was designed for my sister, also known as “Smart Smurf”. Smart Smurf is green. Why? I don’t know. I don’t think I’ll ever understand. :)
Crochet: Beret, Tam
This pattern was created to mimic the giant leaves on the tree outside my front window. I had wanted to make a hat with crocheted cables, and this is my first design. I totally love it!
Knitting: Purse / Handbag
I love the Celtic Braid cable. The minute I learned how to work it, I knew I had to incorporate it into something. This bag was the result of my musings.
Crochet: Cloche Hat
This hat was inspired by the covers of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga. The colors fascinated me, and I love embellishing my hats. It’s probably about an intermediate level crochet pattern. You will also need to know how to make yo yos, so I have included directions in the pattern.
Knitting: Blanket - Other
A “twist” (pun intended) on the usual baby cocoon knitting pattern. I have always loved cables, and I thought the cocoon could use some. :D
