Crochet: Beanie, Toque
When my nephew wanted a new hat, I just couldn’t find a pattern that I liked. Most of the crochet patterns had large holes between the stitches, so they didn’t keep his ears warm, or the size just didn’t seem right. So I wrote this pattern using aspects of the other patterns I’ve made in the past, but just a little different.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
The size of the hat in this pattern is pretty universal and has fit most people so far. If you need a larger pattern, rather than increasing the hook size, it’s recommended that you continue to increase to 96 stitches and then repeat for a total of 16 blue rounds and then do 3 white rounds.
