Crochet: Scarf
This triangular scarf works up quickly with a simple four row pattern repeat, and has dangly tails at the top corners. Wet block gently to open up the mesh sections.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
Herrena is an asymmetrical wrap that is worn fastened by a brooch, shawl pin or button link. It is worked edging first, with the main body of the shawl crocheted on to the edging strip.
Crochet: Cowl
This highly textured cowl is designed to fit snugly. There is however enough yarn in 1 x 100g skein of the Elmet Aran to increase length by up to 5” (10 rows) if a looser cowl is preferred. The yarn used gives very good stitch definition to this pattern.
Crochet: Christmas Stocking
Written in UK terms, this simple stocking works up super fast due to the treble crochet (US double crochet) stitch. Pages 1 and 2 contain the pattern, while pages 3 and 4 contain photo-heavy step by step instructions for turning the heel, giving you the option of printing the full thing or pattern-only.
Crochet: Hanging Ornament
The perfect way to make known your feelings about that particular cousin, co-irker or neighbour.
Crochet: Toys and Hobbies - Other
Ever wished you could have a real-life disagree button? Now you can! Invaluable for perusing Facebook, and an ideal gift for call centre workers everywhere, this pocket-sized button can be attached to a keychain so it’s always there when you need it.
Crochet: Containers
Perfect for showing off silk, dried or felt flowers, this vase can also be used with a glass liner to display fresh flowers. Leave plain or decorate with beads, buttons and crocheted flowers, or experiment with variegated and self-striping yarns.
Crochet: Hanging Ornament
There’s not really much that can be said about this one. A fellow LSGer requested a specific pattern, and I was happy to help. I mean, yeah, it looks like naughty bits but if you work it in red and turn it upside-down, hey presto, you have a love heart. Any other interpretation is down to your own filthy mind.
Crochet: Hanging Ornament
Yarn weight and hook size will determine the finished size of this pattern. Use 4-ply/fingering for keychain size, DK/worsted for tree/car ornament size, chunky/bulky for coaster size. Use hook size appropriate to yarn.

Crochet: Scarf
This scarf is perfect for a confident beginner in crochet. It uses a simple pattern repeat that gives maximum visual impact and is easy to customise for width and length, so can be made as a skinny scarf or a wide wrap. It can also be made in any weight yarn; just make sure you use a hook big enough to give a very open fabric.
Crochet: Pin Cushion
A tribute to my favourite Hogwarts teacher - Professor McGonagall’s Yule Ball hat.
Crochet: Brooch
The way this corsage is worked means it has a flat back, making it very easy to sew on a brooch pin or button & also meaning it sits well when worn.
Crochet: Cowl, Scarf
This pattern requires 2 large focal buttons (mix or match) to make the button link & also 2 medium plain buttons to match your yarn.
Crochet: Washcloth / Dishcloth
This is a burlesque-inspired washcloth pattern, ideal for Valentine’s Day or a hen/bachelorette party gift. For this project gauge is unimportant - simply use a hook appropriate to your yarn as the yarn weight & hook will determine the finished size but overall proportions will remain the same regardless.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
I designed these gloves as a quickie extra gift for my daughter’s birthday - they’re fast to make & can even be scaled down for funky toddler mitts.
