Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a super warm winter hat, inspired by the cold weather we have been having these days and by an amazing book of traditional Latvian mittens. Latvians have a rich history of traditional knitting and most knits were done in stranded knitting, using several colors. The color work pattern comes from a glove from Kurland region, Ventspils.

Knitting: Baby Blanket
I will happily gift this pattern to those, who would like to knit this blanket for charity. Please, send me a message! (and tell me what/who you are supporting!)

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a triangle shaped shawl, knit from top down, increasing stitches at the center of the shawl and both sides.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a pattern for lace weight to fingering weight yarn, merino, cashmere, alpaca, kid mohair are all suitable options. (It also looks fabulous if beaded, though I have not provided instructions for beading at this point.)

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a pattern for lace, fingering or 4-ply weight yarn. Pick a needle that will produce you a fabric you are happy with. The red sample shawl is worked in light fingering weight yarn with needle size 4mm (US 6).

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This will look well in any lightweight yarn that has a good drape, like alpaca, wool, silk, cashmere, to name a few. You might want to use a slightly larger needle for mohair.

Knitting: Food Cozy
A really fun thing to make, takes about an hour, more or less, depending on how fast you knit and how fast the wool felts… :)
