Knitting: Cowl
The first in a series of 80s themed knits, this cowl was inspired by the Erasure song, “Chains of Love.” The cowl is knit in the round, garter stitch, with slipped stitches creating the mosaic chain pattern. Mosaic pattern was adapted from Band 24 in Barbara Walker’s book “Mosaic Knitting.”
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern grew out of a love for my best friends and the want and need of everyone to be accepted for who they are. After the Supreme Courts decision to legalize marriage by any two people, I completed the scarf and pattern for sale.

Chevron is all the rage right now. I created this scarf to add a little dimension to the plain chevron. A little white window frames the dark color as the white zigs and zags the length of the scarf. Choose high contrast colors to get the best effect.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Inspired by Scribbling, this simple pattern needs no yarn changes. The thick and thin yarn creates the texture without the need to change yarns.

The yarn inspired this pattern. The color reminded me of candy and the stitch pattern (wavy rib) reminded me of steam rising from the hot drink.
