Since this is not a fitted garment, gauge isn’t super important.

Here’s the cool thing. You don’t have to meet a specific guage, because this project is the swatch for your next pair of socks! Just use whatever sock yarn you plan on using and the needles you plan on using. It works for DPNS or two circs. It takes only a few yards of yarn.

This can be worked in any variety of weights of yarn. Just use the ball band recommended hook size. The larger gauge you use, the larger your flower will be.
