Gauge and size of needle does not matter. Make the scarf as wide or long as you want and add strings in whatever size you want. This is the fastest easiest scarf on the planet!

Before blocking I soak the scarf in a little liquid starch solution to help the leaves lay down nicely. You could also use a more wool-based yarn which would help as well.
