Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is my basic sock pattern. This pattern is easy to adjust for size as well as a good base for adding embellishments (cables, lace, colourwork etc). The main characteristic of this pattern is my heel - I do a variation on a wrapped short row heel, and the result is very similar to what you’d get with a circular sock knitting machine.

Knitting: Mittens

The lattice cables on the back give these mitts enough stretch to make them versatile for different hand sizes. The length can be adjusted by doing more or fewer repeat...
Knitting: Cup / Mug
This pattern was designed as a beginner cabling piece. If you know how to knit and purl, you will be able to make this cozy! If you’re really adventurous, there are photo instructions for cabling without a cable needle. This is a great, quick project for using up scrap yarns or just to personalise your travel mug.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl was designed for a beginner knitting class. It’s a great, easy pattern that works up quick without a lot of fuss. It’s perfect for showcasing hand painted or variegated yarns, and can be knit in wool or acrylic depending on your preference.
