Boat Trip is a cowl which uses shaping inspired by a semi-circular shawl, to produce a low swooping front. This cowl provides a secure way of wearing lace around your neck, with no additional bulk that a shawl can produce, and using less yarn than a shawl may require.

The Ribbon and Rings Cowl uses a single skein of lovely aran or worsted weight yarn. It is an efficient stash buster as well as a lovely project that can either be given as a gift or worn by the knitter as an unusual and flexible cowl.

This shawlette is triangular and knit from the top down, using a single skein of sock yarn.

The result is a semi-circular shawl that only has 7 or 8 increase rows (depending on whether you chose to do a ruffled edge or not). A cabled hat pattern designed to fit and suit both men and women. This pattern is knit in the round on 4mm and 5mm circular or double pointed needles, using less than 100g of aran or worsted weight yarn. It suits either solid or variegated yarns, though a heavily striped yarn would hide the cabling.

The Felted Tulip Bag is a bright and colourful addition to any wardrobe, and is guaranteed to lift your spirits on a dull grey day. It brings a touch of spring to your wardrobe, no matter what time of year it is.

This interesting twist on an standard beanie hat is designed to show off the subtle variations in semi-solid yarn, but would work well with both solid and striped yarn as well.

The kitty is knit entirely in the round, using either magic loop or dpns, so there are NO SEAMS!!!

This pattern uses Magic Loop, and an i-cord cast off, both of which techniques are detailed fully. There are also full instructions on how to felt the bag, using a front-loading washing machine.

This is a small felted purse, that can be used for coins or notions. It has a zipped top and there are full instructions on how to felt the purse and add the zip.

Last winter I knit the the Porom, a hat designed by Jared Flood. I decided that it needed to be worn with a scarf and tried to find one to knit. I couldn’t quite find the right pattern for me, so I decided to design my own. The Romberry Scarf is the result.
