Knitting: Cardigan
This adorable baby and child sweater is worked from the top down with traditional raglan shaping. The garter stitch collar and button band are shaped with short rows and are picked up and worked after the body is knitted. The pattern is designed to be worn with two to three inches of positive ease.
Knitting: Cardigan
This flattering double breasted cardigan features a turned hem on both the body and sleeves and a twisted rib panel and collar. The body and sleeves are knitted from the bottom up and joined at the underarms to work a traditional raglan yoke. Twisted ribbing travels up the front of the sweater and six buttons make the closure. A fold-over colla...
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
Fresh Mint is a sweet little tank top, with a wee bit of lace at the top to keep things exciting. I think my favorite detail may be the single little row of purl bumps right below the lace - it is so tiny and really girly for some reason, and I can’t get enough of it!
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Here’s a quick and easy pattern for some very warm house-socks for your favorite guy (I say guy because they are sized for a man’s foot – US size 10 1/2 – 12). They only take a few hours to knit, so are perfect for a last minute gift! I used Encore worsted doubled
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This sweet little hat is inspired by Elizabeth Zimmermann’s classic Baby Sweater on Two Needles (aka February Baby Sweater) from EZ’s Knitter’s Almanac. The beanie has a very simple construction, using the gull lace stitch described in the sweater pattern. The decreases are worked in a lace pattern that continues almost to the crown, and the wh...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
A very simple garter stitch shawl, with an attached ruffled border - so no bound off edge. This is a simple knit, perfect for knitting while watching some TV!
Knitting: Cardigan
A paid version of this pattern is available with more sizes (3 months to child size 10), improved sizing for the 3 and 6 month sizes and construction updates.
Knitting: Cardigan
I’ve added an updated pattern that includes more detailed instructions and fixes an error for the smaller size (the pdf is also a much smaller file now, thankfully)
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a very simple ribbed hat, with crown shaping that adds a little interest to a typical two by two rib. The final look reminds me of a forest in winter.

I’m happy to offer my very first pattern, a simple cabled hat called Cable Me Pink. I knit this hat in a sportweight yarn with a little bit of mohair, but I think it would look lovely in a different type/weight yarn. My goal was to create a cabled pattern where the cables led smoothly into the decreases. I hope that you feel I’ve succeeded!
