Crochet: Backpack
This quirky crochet backpack is called the Thang Thang Backpack. The idea is to ‘do your thang’ and pick your own colours and make your own colour combinations in order to create a unique backpack!
Crochet: Wristlet
Japanese knot bags are small, open, tote bags with one detail that makes them unique. They are designed with one handle longer than the other. You slip the longer handle through the shorter one to form a knot and close the bag. This way you can loop it over your wrist.
Crochet: Pullover
This crochet top feels great to wear. It gives you just that extra bit of warmth. It’s a super comfy top and has little ease. Usually I wear size M/L but because I like a loose fit, I made an XL version.

Crochet: Legwarmers
These crochet legwarmers will cuddle your legs this winter! And they will top off your outfit as they make a hip and fashionable accessory.
Crochet: Throw
The Amigo blanket is a colourful patchwork blanket that works up way faster than expected! (The secret ingredient for that is the hdc! Again ;-))
Crochet: Scarf
This beautiful crochet scarf is by far the smallest I’ve designed so far. Or should I say, it could be the smallest? Because this crochet scarf can be as BIG and as small as you like. Just follow the instructions in the pattern.
Crochet: Tote
The Mighty Tote Bag is a crochet bag full of texture and it’s super sturdy. This bag is an easy carryall and it can do some heavy lifting.

The Billy Balaclava is a super hip and trendy crochet accessory and not only that, it works up in NO time!
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The Whirly Waves Wrap might look intricate but it’s actually a simple crochet pattern! It mostly consists of double- and single crochet stitches. Easy does it!
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The Winter Waves Wrap is by FAR my most favourite crochet design of 2022. Save the best for last they say! Well, I didn’t intend to, but I did.
Crochet: Cowl
This cowl ended up exactly as I had in mind. I wanted the part around my neck superlong and snug so that it would protect my neck properly against the cold and wind. Here in Amsterdam we use our bicycles all year through so we need that bit of extra protection. I also went down one hook size for the ribbing to make it a bit tighter.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The Sweet Almonds shawl is an asymmetrical crochet shawl that is suitable for the advanced beginner. Like the Garden of Honey shawl, it has one side that increases on every row. You’ll begin at the point and work it until it grows larger. I’ve made a photo tutorial and the pattern also includes a chart. You won’t cut your yarn every row, so no ...
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
The Amalia purse is an ever so cute and classy crochet bag, perfect to carry along your phone, your credit card and some mints on a night out.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This classy crochet shawl is surprisingly easy to make. You’ll just need to be able to make a single crochet, a chain stitch and a double crochet. The most difficult stitch is dc3tog of which the “Buds” consist. (Three double crochet stitches worked together.) I made a little instruction video that you can watch on YouTube. This crochet pattern...
Crochet: Toys and Hobbies - Other
The movie My Octopus Teacher was the inspiration for this teether.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This asymmetrical crochet shawl must be my favourite crochet project, EVER! The colours, the stitches, the waves, the shape. I love everything about the Garden of Honey shawl.
Crochet: Pillow / Cushion
The Siksak crochet pillow works up super fast and is absolutely beginner friendly. It is worked corner-to-corner in the half double crochet V-stitch. Did you know that the half double crochet is my favourite stitch ever? It works up so quick!

Crochet: Scarf
This scarf works up super fast and is beginner friendly. The printable PDF contains helpful photos.
Crochet: Pullover
The Lucy jumper consists of two identical panels, a back and a front one. You’ll make them from the bottom up.
Crochet: Scarf
This scarf makes me so happy (hence the name). It reminds me of a garland. Every day is a party with this scarf. And even better, it’s also really warm because it’s made with wool!
Crochet: Tote
The Mitred Granny bags consists of two panels and for each of them you’ll make four mitred granny squares. You’ll join the two panels and then you’ll make the handle. I love this simple and robust handle. It’s very convenient to hang it on the steering wheel of my bike.
Crochet: Hanging Ornament
Everybody loves quick and easy Christmas crochet projects and I’m superhappy to share this fun and fast design with you!
Crochet: Hanging Ornament
I designed this crochet mandala hanger especially for my garden. I live in the center of Amsterdam in a tiny, 50 m2 apartment, but with a lovely garden. Actually, the garden is about as big as my house!
Crochet: Lampshade
Crochet lanterns are so much fun to make. You can play with colours endlessly! The Gran Festa lantern is relatively easy to crochet and the photos and crochet charts make the pattern suitable for adventurous beginners!
Crochet: Afghan block
You can really play around with colours and make the square in your own style. The square itself is really versatile. You could use it for a bag, a pillow or even a blanket! (Please don’t forget to tag me!)
Crochet: Hanging Ornament
The crochet pattern is beginner friendly and it works up rather quickly. I wanted it to be an easy mandala you can make in a day (or two ;)) and give away the other day. And it does make an awesome present! Choose your friends favourite colours to make it even more personal!
Crochet: Pullover
The Granny square has made a recent comeback and I love seeing all the jumpers and other garments using them popping up. Of course I wanted to jump on the Granny train too and design one myself.
Crochet: Wall Hanging
This mandala gives yet another modern twist to the old fashioned Granny square.
Crochet: Vest
A crochet slipover is the new must-have in crochet fashion land. Everybody’s making one!
Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
This bag is one of my favourite makes and designs ever! I love these old school designs that are stylish as ever.
Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
My aim was to create a somewhat chic and stylish market bag. Slouchy doesn’t necessarily have to mean sleazy, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I think I did a pretty good job.
Crochet: Toys and Hobbies - Other
Teethers are such a fun make, excellent to practice your crochet skills, you can use all the colours you like and don’t you just love those wooden rings?
Crochet: Afghan block
This pattern is basically 2 patterns in 1. The sunflower itself consists of only five rows so this pattern is a quick make and you could easily crochet several flowers and make a bunting. Like I did! The sunflowers would also make great coasters.
Crochet: Decorative - Other
There’s something about lanterns that make them the perfect accessory to your house and foremost, your garden! They add coziness, warmth and creativity They just give the finishing touch.

The Flora goes to the market bag is a fun and relatively easy project with endless colour possibilities. “It’s easy to follow because it’s perfectly detailed and organized with helpful photos”, according to one of my testers.
Crochet: Drawstring Bag
You can use this bag all year through and if it reminds you of summer that’s only a positive thing if you ask me.
Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
The Little Triangles market bag is a fun and easy project. “Unique” one of my testers called it! And “such a good alternative for plastic bags!!” “You are going to want to make this one!” said another tester. (Honestly, just look on Insta :-))
Crochet: Toys and Hobbies - Other
Another fun teether that will soothe your baby’s gums. The soft tentacles will remind babies of the umbilical cord and their mother’s womb which might work comforting. Plus they’re great to play with!
Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
I picked two playful cross stitches for the bag, which make it an interesting and fun (and not so hard) make. I put in an extra photo to make it more clear.
Crochet: Belt
I guess as crocheters we all love granny squares. Of course the original one stays king (or queen), but I tried to come up with a more modern version to use for this belt. And then, because of my colour choice I still gave it a seventies retro look hahaha Or as they call it, boho style.
Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
The Hillie market bag is a fun and easy make. As usual, I used Drops Muskat for the bag. The mint really gives the bag that spring feeling, but you could easily transform it in an autumn bag if you’d use warmer colours. Just play around with colours I’d say. You could easily substitute colour B with more than one colour.
Crochet: Washcloth / Dishcloth
I needed a sustainable alternative for sponges in my kitchen. Did you know that the scrubby part of most kitchen sponges is made of nylon or polyester, which are not biodegradable? They have a massive carbon footprint, and will sit in your landfill for centuries.

Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
The Diamond market bag has a more old-fashioned, rougher appearance because of the linen I used for it. I love that rope kind of feel, but you can make it as modern looking as you wish. Just experiment with colours and different yarns. This bag also works up quickly, mostly dc’s, and is enjoyable to make.
Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
I wanted to make a bag for which I’d use all the yarn I’d bought for it. So no leftovers. (No waste.) I used 9 balls of Scheepjes Catona 10 gr for it and used them completely. So the colour changes might seem random haha. Alternatively you could use leftovers to make this bag and maybe create a rainbow pattern too.
