Crochet: Cowl, Scarf
Cozy and quick to work up, this scarf features a zigzag pattern, ribbed texture, and three different finishes: Ribbed ends, fringed ends, and infinity scarf/cowl. Plus, it’s worked all in one piece, edging and ends included, so you’ll only have 2 ends to weave in! (Except cowl, which will have 4.) Matches the Herring Jig Winter Hat.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
The Herring Jig Winter Hat is a cozy beanie/toque with a double brim for added stretch and warmth. It uses the Herringbone Double Crochet stitch to create a zigzag pattern that is broken up with horizontal ribbing.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
These cozy, stretchy fingerless mitts are constructed of 3 cables, a wide center cable flanked by two skinny cables. This pattern is designed as a companion to the Lynne Marie Cabled Cowl and Hat, and is also an homage to my lovely mother.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This pattern is available FREE on my blog! You can also purchase a printable pdf here on Ravelry for $1.99. https://growkneadpickleandsew.blogspot.com/2017/12/riffle...

I call these fingerless mittens, and their companion “Riding the Rails” Ribbed Infinity Scarf and Riding the Rails Ribbed Winter Hat, “Riding the Rails” because these light and stretchy wrist-warmers are perfect to toss on for a walk along the train tracks just as the stars are coming out on a clear, chilly evening.
