Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a basic hat, knit in the round with a simple charted heart design. Sizes run from baby to adult large. When choosing a size to knit, you want the finished hat measurement to be about 1-2 inches smaller than the actual head circumference for a good fit. Instructions for several different cuffs are included in the pattern. Using a worsted...
Knitting: Mittens
Knit these cozy mittens using worsted weight yarn at a dense gauge. Then pick up stitches in mohair and knit a soft, light and warm liner. Once the liner is knitted, just tuck it to the inside of your mitten and feel the warmth!

The Slightly Slouchy Spiral Hat is a quick and easy project using a bulky yarn held together with a thin strand of sequined yarn (Ella Rae Sequinicity). The textured pattern keeps the knitting interesting and is simple to work.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
We’ve used 3 skeins of Queensland Brighton Beach and a simple, reversible knit/purl combination to create the Echo Wrap. We love the way the color changes in the yarn and this stitch pattern catch the light and combine to create the effect of movement in this rectangular shawl. Knit up in a cotton linen blend, we think it will be an elegant add...

One skein of Glam Haze + about 3 hours = one terrific hat to wear or give away! The deep cuff easily folds double to keep your ears toasty warm while not sacrificing style. The yarn we used has just a little bit of sparkle to make your hat interesting. Add a faux fur, snap-on pom pom for even more glam!

Knitting: Scarf
This scarf uses a simple knit/purl repeat pattern to great effect. The textured pattern is both eye-catching and interesting to knit. The Lana Gatto Feeling yarn used in our sample has a touch of silk, which adds a slight sheen to the texture pattern.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern includes directions for two different hats. One skein each of the suggested yarns is enough to complete the two hats. The textured toque pictured on the right uses a strand of each yarn held together. The slouch hat on the left uses the leftovers, worked in stripes.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat pattern is named after the Lana Gatto Lancaster yarn which has fun bright bits of tweediness that remind us of confetti. The hat starts with a provisional cast-on of your choice, and a hem that is doubled and knitted together for extra warmth over your ears. It works up quickly in the round on size 8 US needles.

This shawl uses stockinette with an easy eyelet stitch detail, using the 6 colors of the gradient set from darkest to lightest. At the halfway point, the eyelet detail is changed to give a mirror image design.

The idea behind our Summer Simplicity pattern was to create a design that was simple and fun to knit and yet held your interest. Something that you could take along with you if you’re travelling this summer. Something that you can sit and knit at the beach or during an evening with friends or watching tv. Something that would be fun for both a ...
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern has numerous variations. Variegated yarns with long color runs or self-striping yarns are good choices, or introduce stripes from various single color yarns. Decide on the width of the scarf you want to knit, calculate your gauge, multiply the two, and cast on. The quantity of yarn you will need will vary by the width and length. I...
Knitting: Scarf
Brioche stitch creates a wonderfully soft and squishy ribbed fabric. The stitch is not hard to knit and can become almost rhythmic as you work it.
Knitting: Hats - Other
This hat is for knitters who do not like to use circular or double pointed needles. Two colors are used for the design, although the hat could also be made using one color. The hat is knit flat with the top seam joined using a 3-needle bind off. Then the side seam is sewn. Tassels can be added from leftover yarn.
Knitting: Scarf
The pattern only has 2 rows so it is easily memorized. The color sequence can easily be changed from the color block design in the pattern. The scarf also works in a single color. It can be lengthened, if desired. There was enough of the Camel Hair to add about 30 rows in the middle section.
Knitting: Cowl
The classic stitch pattern in this cowl shows off the delightful interplay between garter stitch and ribbing AND it’s reversible! Worked up in bulky yarn it makes a quick gift for someone special or for yourself!

This pattern includes directions for a basic hat, in 5 different sizes (Baby to Large Adult) and 3 different weights of yarn (DK, Worsted, and Bulky). A good basic go-to pattern. Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is our shop pattern for a basic hat worked in 2x2 ribbing. The hat is nice and stretchy and will fit a range of adult size heads. Be sure your cast on edge is not too tight and you will have plenty of stretch.

This is a fun and simple hat to knit. The garter stitch border makes it especially attractive and we’ve found it looks good even on people who don’t usually look good in a hat! The pattern includes directions for a simple hat in the round with garter stitch border and garter stitch mitts that are worked flat and sewn up the side.
Knitting: Scarf, Beanie, Toque
Two colors of Berroco Vintage Chunky are needed to work the design, but there is enough in two skeins to complete both the hat and scarf with optional pompom on the hat. Or alternatively, the two skeins would make two hats, switching the Main Color and the Change Color. Approximately the same amount of yarn is needed in each color.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The two-row pattern keeps repeating for the whole shawl so you can make it as large as you want or vary the use of two or more colors for different effects. The Adele yarn has some sequins in it, and choosing a variegated yarn as the change color with similar colors to the sequins will enhance the look of the shawl. The design also works well w...

The cowl can be shortened or lengthened in 3 inch increments by adding or subracting pattern repeats. Each 18 stitch repeat measures 3 inches at gauge.
