This pattern includes instructions for 3 variations: shark, unicorn, and princess. It uses worsted weight yarn and a j hook. You could also add a bow tie on the neck & add a mohawk (unicorn hair) and it would make a super cute hat for a boy dog. I also have left the hat plain except for a pom pom on top and it was cute too. :)

{NOTE: In order to make this as easy as possible, since I know a lot of people hate doing gauges – haha – I’m writing this as a pattern guideline with measurements only. Use whatever hook size and yarn weight you want, just make sure your measurements are right. :) Happy Hooking!!}
