Knitting: Scarf
The Atlantis scarf is inspired by west coast Handmaiden’s Maiden Hair yarn. The colours used reminded us of the seaweed flanking the shores of Canada. Atlantic and Pacific seaweeds, just as the Fleece Artist and Handmaiden are at each ends of our beautiful country.

Knitting: Cowl
The oversized Cowl Magnus is knit with Cascade’s Super Bulky Magnum yarn on size 20mm needles (the drop down menue above doesn’t have the 20mm choice, so we chose the closest-sorry for any confusion) instead of the required size 12mm. Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Nothing wrong with a simple knit, we usually have a small project in between a larger one. Although the Sophie mitt is a great second step project for new knitters, the finished piece is an instant favorite. Last Spring I was caught wearing them outside on a patio having a evening pint. Remember this is Canada, burrr!!!!
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
This is the second sweater Twiss and Weber designed together. In three steps, it is knit in Stockinette in the round, Knit flat in Garter stitch, and then one seam is sewn to create the armholes. This is a good “next step” project for beginners and the result has plenty of style for every degree of knitterly experience.
Knitting: Billed Hat
Chapeau de Crème Brûlée is worked in the round from the bottom up. Once the lace gets going, the pace picks up. Before you know it, you’ll be ready to knit the brim. One skein of Cascade SuperFine Alpaca yarn will complete the hat and you will have enough for an optional pom-pom (that’s French for pom-pom). Pattern is rated intermediate level o...
