This pattern was designed as an exclusive pattern for Northfield Yarn and YARNventure 2016 - a Southeastern Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop that takes place on the fourth weekend in June every year.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This cozy hat with it’s bold colorwork pattern knits up in a jiffy with your favorite chunky weight yarn. The pattern includes instructions for making two sizes. The Small (Toddler/Child) measures approx. 14” around and 7.5” high unstretched. The Large (Teen/Adult) measures approx. 18” around and 9” high unstretched.

This cozy, reversible cowl knits up quickly in your favorite worsted weight yarn. The large size can be wrapped twice to show off both sides of your work. Make one for yourself and another for a friend!

The Riverwalk Shawlette was inspired by my friend Diane’s love of crescent shaped shawls and the Riverwalk Cowl pattern I designed last year for the YARNventure 2014 shop hop. It hugs the shoulders beautifully and can be worn with or without a shawl pin. The pattern includes a garter tab, a garter stitch body, and a knitted on lace edging.

This lovely cowl pattern includes instructions for a picot chain cast-on and a stretchy bind off. The lace pattern is written out and charted and the pattern is easily changed to make a smaller or larger cowl.

The pattern is written for two sizes and knits up quickly in your favorite DK weight yarn. It’s important to block the cowl after you are done knitting it to reveal the full beauty of the lace pattern.

This pattern was inspired by a trip to the Atlantic Ocean this winter. We spent four days on the beach enjoying the sun and surf. When we swam in the ocean we saw tropical fish and jellyfish which was very exciting for Minnesotans!
