The Little Gemstones Cowl is worked in the round in one piece with no sewing or picking up stitches, the yarn is broken after each gem is worked so you could use a different colour for every gem.

Polystyrene wreath forms are available from most craft shops. Alternatively, you could sew your wreath ring together, leaving a gap, and then stuff with toy filling.
