I love spring. It’s a season of hope, of fresh starts, of inspiration after a long, dreary winter. But as a knitter, spring also means packing away much-loved sweaters and wraps as they are no longer need to guard against cold winter nights. But that doesn’t mean that knitting is only for the colder months. My sister-in-law loves owls. I usually knit something owl-themed for her birthday, but when it rolled around this year, I just couldn’t find anything that was tickling my knit fancy.

Knitting: Animal Toy
I have a good friend that I’ve known for years. We live to tease each other. One day, I was bugging him about getting his toddler a new pet. I suggested a goldfish, to which he replied, “A goldfish is the dumbest pet you can give a two-and-a-half year old. She can’t cuddle it, she can’t pet it. All she can do it look at it.”
Knitting: Feet / Legs - Other

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The design for this pattern came to me in a dream.
