After insistent demand, finally a translation!

These were designed for a sock exchange, where we were asked to incorporate traditional patterns from our own country. I chose a stylized pink flower from a weaving pattern, because I liked the quirky shape. Pinks are related to Carnations & Sweet William.

Based on a traditional pattern from the region where I grew up, this sock pattern was inspired by some glow-in-the-dark yarn I purchased from Heartstrings Fibre Arts. You could substitute any colours you like.

Use long repeat self striping yarn, or several different solid colors.
