Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I’m a serious hat wearer and spring doesn’t slow me down. Spring hats are lighter; prettier. And where I live, in Paris, Ontario, springtime is exceptional.
Knitting: Cowl
Sinkhole is a cozy fitted cowl that is reminiscent of an old-school dickie; I reach for this when the temperatures dip low or the wind picks up, night or day. I learned the yolk shaping style from an old Norwegian sweater pattern, then added the sinkholes just for fun.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I’ve made a few of these hats in various worsted weight yarns. This one is, without hesitation, the most luxurious….the texture and feel of the madelinetosh tosh vintage is divine. Paired with the lightness and warmth of the Lopi… well…my favourite hat ever.
