Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
The pattern on the socks is inspired by the designs of hand-painted Easter eggs. The zig-zag pattern can be painted on the eggs either as narrow or wide stripes. By changing the colours, the socks can be true Easter socks or suitable for year-round use as colourwork socks.

Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
The lace of the socks is one of my favorite laces, which I have used in several of my knits. The socks are knitted toe up so that the lace is positioned beautifully starting from the toes. The lace pattern is only knitted on the top of the foot and the front of the socks. The other parts are knitted in stockinette stitch.
