I designed this cowl to go with my Ocean Waves collection. I like a cowl that fits nice and cozy inside your coat. We have very windy winters in Newfoundland and this style keeps your neck warm and toasty.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is knit in a worsted weight yarn. I used Briggs &Little Heritage yarn. Gauge - 18sts. and 26 rows = 10cm in stocking stitch on 4.5mm DPNs. You can use another Worsted weight yarn as long as you get the gauge. You will need approx. 55 - 65gm/of the Main Colour and 20 -25gm of the Contrast Colour
Knitting: Mittens
This is a quick knit Mitten pattern with a simple 8round cable repeat. Works up nicely in worsted weight yarn. To do a larger size I simply went up to 4.5mm needles. This mitt has an afterthought thumb. I have included videos.

Mittens are knit with a side thumb placement, which means they can be worn on either hand. Skill level - Intermediate.

Knitting: Headband
This headband pattern is a fairly quick knit with only a 6 Row repeat pattern. It is shown knit in a Chunky wool but can be knit in a variety of yarn weights which will alter only the width of the headband.
