This is a very basic pattern for knitting toe-up socks that I use in classes. It uses the Fleegle Heel, which the best heel construction I have come across, as well as being very easy to teach.

This pattern is based on “Bean-sprout”, a stitch pattern from Barbara G Walker’s A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns.

Finished size = 106cm x 71 cm but can be worked to any preferred size.

Gauge is not important as this is a dishcloth.
