Blue Faced Leicester Sock Yarn from Elliebelly is a particularly fine sock yarn if you like warm, cozy feet. It is an exceptionally pleasant yarn to knit with -- socks will spring forth from your needles with excellent stitch definition and a beautiful bloom when they are blocked. The superwash gives you a bit of added assurance your socks will survive the inevitable trip through the washer, but although this work horse yarn is a survivor, don’t hesitate to use it for garments as well as for socks. It has been known to produce lovely scarves, sweaters and shawls with excellent drape when knit at a slightly looser gauge than you would use for socks!
