Cheeky is named after our sweet little Chiweenie Cheeky Chica. I saw Cheekys picture on a Valley Animal Center Instagram post and thought she was just the cutest little teeny tiny puppy. I was not able to go see her on Friday and we had to wait till Monday to go see if she was still available and lo and behold there she was the teeniest little puppy in the shelter hiding in her comforter. We learned from her foster mom Daisy that she had been rescued from a hoarding situation and was very sick with Parvo when she was rescued. So Miss Cheeky was doubly lucky!
