I’ve seen it woven into heavy blankets and it’s a great rustic wool for sweaters and outer wear.

Can be knit on #1 needles to produce very warm, durable outer wear. This yarn also makes fine boot and hiking socks. It is widely used by the best hooked rug makers on Cape Breton.
