The yarn has been spun from a very soft wool/silk blend and plied into a coiled, quite tight yarn, recalling the body of the glittering insect. Silvery-grey, transparent organza fabric strips have been spun in to represent the delicate wings of the dragon fly, and a sparkling thread has been carried along in the plying process to add even more splendour and to carry about 80, beautiful faceted glass beads. It’s 2ply, tight and soft, with added beads and fabric.
